Incompetent USPS

Question

I sent an item however the USPS did not scan the item so the tracking was not updated. It is currently stuck in 'shipping label created'.

The buyer says the item did not arrive. If the tracking never shows delivered, I will not get paid.

Always take the package into the post office, get it scanned and get a receipt.

It's possible the package may have been scanned along the way. Go to your Seller Hub > Orders > Paid & shipped

Locate the transaction, click the tracking number to be taken to the website. Look for the link to enter your email address to be sent updated tracking. Hopefully, that will update any scans for the package. Otherwise, ebay will send the payout after 31 days past the last estimated delivery date if the buyer has not filed an Item Not Received case.

@gmeister45 Always take the package into the post office, get it scanned and get a receipt. This is excellent advice. Getting that scan is crucial.
