Inactivate Listings
Is there a way to inactivate listings? I have about 35 Christmas listings that I would like to be able to activate again in July for a Christmas in July sale. I just tried running a sale at 35% off, but not one taker.
I don't want to delete the listings because I will run them again and I don't want to have to do it all over again with each. It would be nice to just add them back when I'm ready. 🙂

OP2 years agoI am so confused on listing fees on ebay. I've been selling seriously for less than a year, I just got the Starter subscription this month so that I could run some sales. I haven't gone over 250 listings, but I'm edging close. So, all of the listings so far have been "free" with no listing fees, correct?
But when I go over 250, then I am charged .25 / .30 Am I charged this once? When does ebay collect, after the item sells? When and how often do listings get renewed and do I get charged for renewals?
Somewhere, and it might have been before I signed up for the subscription because I can't see it anywhere now, at the bottom of my pages, I had a thing that showed up to 750 listings and/or $35,000 was it per month? What was this?
I'm sorry for all the newb questions, is there anywhere that you can direct me to to find the answers? I have looked, but not been successful.
THANK YOU!!! ♥

OP2 years agoDo items in the "Unsold" section count against your total listings for your subscription?

Mentor2 years agoThe items in your UNSOLD were counted when they were originally listed. When you submit them again in July, they will then be counted against your free listings.

OP2 years agoThank you so much for your answer. Man, that seems like a lot of work, and worse for me, is the "remembering". I was hoping it would be an easy one click of a button thing that I was missing BUT your way would at least get me to a Christmas in July sale.
Again, THANKS! ♥

Mentor2 years agoI would END all the listings that you wanted ended. You can do that in bulk. Those listings will all be in your UNSOLD folder for up to 90 days, and then they are automatically removed. Before that day arrives, go into each listing and make a small change and Save in your DRAFTS. That will allow the listing to stay for about 60 days. When you go to your DRAFTS, ebay displays the date it will be removed, so if you need to extend that date, open up the listing and Save it again.
