Inaccurate refund amount
I was paid out about $380 for a pair of shoes that sold for $450… the buyer canceled the order and requested and refund… why am I paying the buyer $450 out of pocket when I only received $380??? The other $70 went to service fees so why am I covering eBay’s end of the refund??? Has this happened to anyone else? I have been using eBay for 20+ years and have never had a problem like this, I am proud to say that I will no longer be using eBay to sell my sneakers.

Mentor3 years agoWhen you cancel an order, the refund is automatically processed. eBay credits your fees.
When you refund an order, eBay pays the portion you paid in fees and you cover the rest, so you shouldn't be deducting anything. Here's an example where the buyer's total payment was $38.87:
