Inaccurate pop report- want to cancel
Summary: collectimon expressed concerns about an inaccurate PSA population report in an auction listing they won. The listing showed a PSA 10 population of 11, but it was actually 337. This discrepancy affected their bidding decision, leading them to seek advice on how to cancel the purchase and whether this action might result in a PSA ban.
Hi, I won a PSA store auction but the listing “Price Insights” section showed the PSA 10 population as 11 as you will see in the screenshot. However it turns out that was inaccurate, and the PSA 10 population is 337 (in the other screenshot from a different auction of the same card). This is a mistake by eBay but it drastically changes the calculation for why I bid on this card. Because of that eBay error in listed PSA 10 population on the listing, I would like you to cancel this, but I would like some advise as to how that would work? And will PSA ban me?

Mentor2 weeks agoYou can REQUEST to cancel the transaction, but only the seller can file a cancellation and they are not obligated to do so. If you do not pay, the seller can file a cancellation for Buyer Didn't Pay, and that would record an unpaid transaction on your account. Two unpaid transactions and you will find yourself blocked by many sellers. That block will last for 12 months.
