Inaccurate Item Description
I purchased a silicone strap wristband for a Fitbit Luxe, the band is incompatible with the Fitbit Luxe model and returns are not accepted. Did I legitimately just get scammed, while eBay protects the scammer?

A seller's no returns policy does not fly in the face of ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) policy if an item is not as described. Open the link below to find out what to do to get a refund. If the problem was that the band did not fit, when you file the dispute, Select Item Not As Described, Do Not give Didn't fit as the reason for the return.

OP3 weeks agoThe seller has already responded to my return and "closed" the interaction. I can't seem to find another course of action, any insight where to go from here?

How long ago did you receive the item? If you did not file an INAD dispute within 30 days of receiving the item, it was ebay who closed the dispute for being past the 30 day time limit for filing. If you were within the 30 day time frame, if you post the ebay item number, which you can find in the Order details under the Item's Title it is a 12 digit number without hyphens.

Mentor3 weeks ago@ryan_dupay Did you choose "doesn't fit" for the return reason? If yes then that's why the seller was able to deny the return. The reason should have been doesn't match description.
Unfortunately you only get one chance at a return request case.
IF you chose the wrong reason then your only option is going to be a charged back with your funding source.
