Improving Authenticity Guarantees
My recommendation for eBay if an item is miscategorised and even if they can’t for whatever reason verify authenticity they reach out to the seller prior to moving forward with shipping an item.
Many customers like the piece of mind of the guaranteed authenticity and would not purchase otherwise.
Give the seller maybe 24 hours to resolve any issues, ie return back for refund because moving forward and shipping an item they can’t authenticate to the seller.
