Impact of Customer-Initiated Returns Outside eBay's International Shipping Program
I'm a new seller and I have an order that was sold through eBay's International Shipping Program. The customer now wants to return the item, and originally, eBay handles this process entirely. However, the customer prefers to return the item directly rather than going through eBay's return system. I would like to know, if the customer returns the item themselves and does not go through eBay’s International Shipping Program, will it affect my store or my seller level?
Thank you for helping me with the answer.

Because this was processed through the eBay International Shipping Program, the return must go through them. That way you keep the sale and money and eBay issues the refund. It would create all kinds of issues for you to accept the return yourself.
