Immediate Payment on Auctions??!!
So Long time customer all of the sudden is being charged immediately for her won AUCTIONS. According to her eBay says it is because WE ( It has happened to a friend of mine who she buys from also, not sure about with anyone else) have "checked the box for immediate payment"or as she said "auto collect". So A quick check of MY listing template which I have used for two years with no problems like this, NOPE NO option available. Quick check #2: looked at my eBay payments business policy. the box to check for BUY IT NOW BEST OFFERS is even unchecked. Sent her a picture of that and made note of the fact it said best offers.
Final and last check, even the eBay help section says immediate payment is available only on Buy it now best offers or in an auction when a Buy it Now price is available which neither one of us do! So it is obviously either SHE has checked a wrong box somewhere OR there is a glitch in the system since the summer seller update has something about best offers and immediate payments in it. I am mainly auctions so I do not worry to much about that so it was skimmed, but in this case it DOESNT matter as it was an auction. I also asked her if she thought it was funny it only happened to 6 of her auctions and not all 27. No answer.. HAHA IS there something in the BUYER places that SHE could have clicked a box that lets eBay charge immediately. I give free shipping after 5 cards, so this is another reason it would be crazy for me to do immediate payments. Which we all know cant be done with an auction anyway.. SO anyway, back to the question, does anyone know off hand if there is some way a BUYER can make it so their account is charged as soon as an auction ends. Thanks in advance
