I'm trying to get a refund for a defective item
I purchased an stereo amp that was listed as used but works. I received it and it is defective the sound is distorted and is unusable. I contacted the seller several times and they told me that they do not accept returns, then they just ignored me. How do I apply for ebay's money back guarantee?

Mentor2 years agoThe seller’s return policy doesn’t apply to defective items.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he can not send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
Even when a seller is agreeable to a return, you should open a return request so eBay can help if there is a problem.
