I'm locked out from selling anything on ebay and not sure how to resolve the issue.
I'm locked out from selling anything on ebay and not sure how to resolve the issue. Ebay informs me to check my messages, but nothing in my inbox about a locked account.

What is the exact message you get when you try to list an item?
Have you ever listed an item for sale? I don't see any seller feedback.

OP5 months agoYour selling privileges have been restricted because our records show that your account is connected to an account that's already restricted or limited.
For more information, please check your messages in My eBay.
This is the message I'm seeing. It has been a few years since I listed anything.

Ah, ok. Your account is connected to either
1) an earlier account you had, or
2) Someone else's account (family member) who used the same computer, etc as you did.
If you had an earlier account and owe some money to eBay, you may be able to resolve it by paying the back amount.

Scroll to the Bottom of the page
1) Click "Contact Us" or the ? then:
In the CHAT WINDOW
2) Type "payments"
3) Type "Agent" in the chat window
4) You may need to click "Something Else" or "More Options" or type "Agent" a few more times
5) Click “Have Us Call You” (or "call us")
-- If you use a call filter on your phone, turn it off temporarily, or it might block the incoming call.
