I'm just wondering if a lifetime warranty means after 6 months you don't have to hold up to it
Here's my question I bought a set of shocks for my vehicle put them on and after 6 months one of them goes bad and now I'm expected to pay just as much that the shot cost to get it shipped to me and if I don't pay that amount they don't have to do nothing so what is a lifetime warranty mean with eBay after 6 months the seller's not responsible for his lifetime warranty because I don't agree to pay all shipping or what not very happy with the situation would like it resolved and I would not like to be told that the seller because he made a request of me to pay the shipping or as he said shipping share the cost so why don't you just take the lifetime warranty offer your crap that you're selling because I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't have a lifetime warranty and I would like my money back for it all because now I got to put all kinds of new stuff on my truck just to make up for the difference of the crap breaking I told them I would pay $25 for shipping as I'm concerned I don't care where it's coming from but that's a quarter of what the shock originally cost me and that's all I intend to pay if eBay thinks that the seller is correct and what he's doing that's all well and good but when you got AI making decisions that's not good and as far as I'm concerned neither seller nor eBay have ever made a phone call to me about the situation who's really running the show a computer or human beings who go around trying to rip off other human beings just wonder if this is the way things are going to go I'm going to be pretty done with eBay pretty quick there are other places to shop thank you for listening and have a great day

eBay's money back guarantee, which is not a warranty, only applies in the first thirty days after receipt of the item.
Manufacturer's warranties typically only apply if you purchase the item from an authorized dealer; check with the manufacturer to see what your options are.
A warranty is only as good as the reputation of whoever offers it. A claim of a two year warranty made by a random seller on eBay is not worth much. Neither you nor eBay can force the seller to honor the warranty if the seller disappears or ignores you.
You may have some protection from PayPal or your payment method; PayPal and many credit cards may offer up to six months protection for your purchases, though PayPal has limited "not as described" returns to thirty days. After your credit card protection expires, you have few options.
