Illegal Deliver - Buyer Responsibility?
Seller shipped product using SpeedX. Speed X placed package in letterbox used by USPS. USPS removed package.
"18 U.S.C. § 1725 prohibits the deposit of unstamped mail in a letterbox approved by the Postal Service"
Filed claim through eBay. Claim was denied as package was "delivered."
Seller was no help.
Does eBay condone illegal deliveries?

Have you filed a complaint or insurance claim with them.
eBay can't control what a carrier does, nor can the seller.
Did you reach out to the seller to ask for help?

OP2 weeks agoSeller has contractual agreement with shipper.
Requested numerous times for seller assistance. No interest.
SpeedX is awful. There is no complaint process.

OP2 weeks agoAccording to SpeedX - one must contact "merchant" (seller) for packages marked as delivered but not received.
