Mentor3 years agoSellers should be starting their auctions at the lowest price they will accept if they only get one bid. Depending on the reason given for cancelling a listing, the seller could receive a defect. If the seller lies about the reason, the winning buyer can Report the Seller here:

1. Select The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies and click Continue.
2. On the next page, enter the seller's ID and select Other.
3. In the comment section, write "Seller cancelled order stating that I requested the cancellation in order to avoid a defect."
