If buyer pays for postage why do I gotta pay out-of-pocket?

I would’ve gotten $30 but I had to pay for another postage label. third time this has happened. Anyone else have this problem?

In the lower section of eBay's order details, the section entitled "What you earned"
do you see that you purchased a "postage label" for $5.80 ?
In the upper section, the section entitled "What your buyer paid", you will also see that your buyer paid $5.80 for postage.
It's the same Five Dollars and Eighty Cents ($5.80).
The $5.80 you spent when you bought the postage label . . . . .
is the very same $5.80 that your seller essentially advanced to you . . . . . .
for the sole purpose of buying the postage and printing the label.
A few quiet moments to think this through, try to follow the money, in your head,
. . . . . . and it will all make perfect sense.
