If an item is damaged in shipping, what is my recourse as a aeller?
If the buyer received the item but it had been damaged in shipping- what recourse do I have as a aeller?

You will need to refund the buyer for the damaged item. You then make a claim with the carrier if you purchased insurance.
Be sure to message the buyer and ask them to send you pictures of the item and the damaged packaging. Also ask them to save the damaged item and packaging, the carrier will most likely want to inspect it as part of your claim.

OP2 years agoI have already refunded the buyer and she sent pictures . She is going to keep the item. I used an ebay shipoing label so not sure about insurance-thought it was included with the label.
