with an efficient recap of the discussion via eBay mail?

·3 years agoKeep correspondence on eBay. A followup or recap after the fact isn't proof of anything.
Buyers that want to text you or talk to you are usually up to no good and want to hide their conversation from eBay.

·3 years agoNO!!!! NEVER communicate directly with a seller or buyer. Always stay in the eBay transaction. The seller or buyer you are communicating with can be a thief or a liar.
Using eBay's communication setup protects you from giving a thief or con artist your personal information that can be used to scam you.
