Mentor11 months agoThere is no way to know in advance how long it will take to verify your identity. eBay takes as long as they want.
New sellers (and returning sellers) will have funds holds of up to 30 days. If you ship with tracking then the funds will be released after the tracking shows the package as delivered. If the item is valued at $1,000 or more then there is a mandatory funds hold for 30 days no matter how long the user has been selling. Certain categories may have longer funds holds than others depending on how risky the item is judged to be.
