Identity stolen by seller?

Question

I bought from a couple of sellers in India this month and I just received a signup confirmation from a British sports betting company. No sign of tampering with my banking. I think they just needed my address and email. Not even sure they were from eBay. I am waiting to hear back from Coral Sports.

Any ideas?

You haven't described identity theft, you've described receiving junk/phishing email which is unlikely to have anything at all to do with your eBay buyers. When you receive junk/phishing mail, flag it as such in your email program and never response to it.
