Identity Fraud
Hello. Someone used my personal banking information to make purchases on Ebay. The bank is not helping me, saying I must have given out my information to someone. I have Merchant Descriptors and dates and they are all in San Jose, CA. I do not live there or know anyone there. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Mentor6 months agoeBay is located in San Jose so that is what will show for any purchase made on eBay USA. Sellers on eBay do not know how any buyer pays for their items so sellers cannot steal your information. Someone must have obtained your information and then used it to make purchases from eBay sellers. You should have been able to open charge backs for these purchases with your bank.
