Identical Photos
Summary: dennismcloughlin is hesitant about purchasing an item due to identical photos being used in listings by different sellers. They suspect the item might not actually be available and express concern about potential fake listings. They are seeking advice on handling this situation.
I see listings for an item I want to buy, which is listed by two different buyers, for two different prices, but both listings contain clearly identical photos. They are not stock photos they are the same item and exact same photos, on a very distinct table. Same photos. I am concerned therefore that one of these sellers does not actually possess the item purportedly being sold. (Or maybe neither one has the item, and they are just fake listings using old photos.) What can be done about this?

OP1 month agoI messaged both sellers and asked why the item’s photos were also displayed by another seller and received no responses.
