You know you could have left feedback containing fewer words in less time than it took you to come here and complain about it.

The way buyers evaluate a seller is by the feedback left about the transaction by other buyers. That helps support good sellers and identify the bad ones. Sellers evaluate buyers by the feedback they leave (or don't leave) for sellers. If leaving feedback is too much trouble for you, skip it. Taking part in building a better community of buyers and sellers is completely voluntary.

Feedback is voluntary ... always.

Nobody says you have to type in a 'story'. {Most of the feedbacks I've left are about 10 words.] It also is possible to copy & paste a standard feedback comment for a satisfactory transaction.

Just don't bother leaving feedback if it's too much of an ordeal.
