I won an auction and the seller canceled and relisted at a higher price. Is this allowed?
The relisted item is the same listing and was canceled right away. I also see another item that was won and has been relisted. These are both used items. the pictures are the same. The descriptions are the same.

Mentor3 years agoI am guessing this was an auction style listing and you were the only bidder? What reason did the seller give for cancelling? If it was Out of Stock, a defect was recorded on the seller's account. Too many defects and the seller can be restricted or suspended.
If the seller said that the Buyer requested the cancellation,

1. Select The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies and click Continue.
2. On the next page, enter the seller's ID and select Other.
3. In the comment section, write "Seller cancelled order stating that I requested the cancellation in order to avoid a defect."
