I was scammed by an eBay seller
The seller had posted an advertisement with an auction on it. Then, before the end of the auction, he removed the advertisement. I spoke to him in the chat and he told me to send the money and the address and I will send you the piece. Then I sent him the money through his PayPal account, but he asked me to make it family because the money would only reach him in this way. So I sent him the money as he requested on December 6 and he told me that I would ship the item to you within 18 hours. Otherwise, nothing has been sent now. He changed his account name and profile picture. I have been trying to talk to him for three days and he never responds. And that it was a scam and he stole my money. I have a picture of his original announcement and all the conversations we had. Please find a solution with this scammer. Thank you

OP2 years agoI felt like he wanted to deceive me, but I needed the piece urgently. But I have learned something now and I will not forgive him for what he did, and he will see a reaction in his life to what he did to the one he trusted.

Mentor2 years agoYou weren't scammed on eBay, but unfortunately you were scammed off eBay. You conducted an off-eBay transaction which is a violation for both buyer and seller. You have no protection if you don't purchase the item through the item listing and make payment through eBay checkout.
