I was scammed by a buyer!
I sold a gold necklace to a buyer with "0" feedback rating. I was asked to send it to an address that was not the one pisted with Paypal but to his Mother's address since he would be out of town. The item was delivered after payment with tracking and signature and a video sent by the buyer to prove it. First, The buyer claims the box was filled with clothes. I contacted Ebay by phone and warned the representative of the scam. The first notice from Ebay said the claim was denied. The buyer appealed and Ebay reversed their decision and took the money back from my account. In the report it was stated that I offered to refund the buyer but that was never the case. I have been with Ebay for 15+ years and have a 99% positive feedback rating! How can Ebay side with an obvious scammer? Can't find the Ebay phone number to contact them about this??? Pathfind41

Mentor3 years agoWhat method did you use to ship the necklace? Did you send to the SHIP TO address attached to the payment, or did you change it? To keep your seller protection you need to send to the SHIP TO address attached to the payment. The weight of the necklace is surely a lot less than a package that is full of clothes.
