I was scammed
I was scammed on ebay. I won a bid for a $700 necklace and received 2 rolls of quarters. Ebay is no help. Tried to call, no one answered. Tried to submit a return, they closed it down, tried to submit the seller as fraudulent and they said they would handle it WITHOUT giving me an update. Has anyone had this happen and is there anyone I can speak to at ebay or a number to call to get a human?

OP5 months agoI am currently awaiting a call back from ebay support. We shall see what happens. This may be the last time I buy anything of value on ebay. This is just terrible and really heartbreaking when you are excited to receive something you purchased and then realize you were scammed.

Mentor5 months ago@southwestbohocloset If eBay does NOT help you then you will need to file a fraud chargeback with your payment method. Do NOT do that until you talk to eBay though. Once you go to your payment method eBay can no longer help you.

Mentor5 months ago@southwestbohocloset. So sorry that happened. Did you file a not received refund request case? If yes then you lose that case because tracking showed delivery.
You need to file a RETURN request
The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request.
Here's what you need to do:
Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos.

4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label or a full refund then ask eBay to step in and help: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
Let me know if you need to return an item to another country as there are additional steps required. The seller pays return shipping for an item that is not as described no matter where they are located.
