I was robbed $393.98
PLEASE… I need help. I bought an iPhone 16e [Removed by. moderator] on December 2, 2025, and 35 days later, I have not received it. He gave me a discount and he told me to pay him with cash app and we communicated in the eBay communication section. I had no idea by doing that I would not see my purchase. I’ve asked him numerous times to give me the tracking number, but I never received it. A few weeks ago I went to his site and I saw that he’s only got 66% of positive reviews. If I had noticed it earlier I wouldn’t have bought from him. I paid $393.98 and I asked him for my refund and if the phone comes to me I will pay to send it back to him. I haven’t heard back from him. HE MUST BE A FRAUD…
Please I need help I don’t want to lose my almost $400. Now, I want a refund and he is ignoring me please, please, please help me… and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
I’ve tried communicating with the robot on eBay multiple times and I am tired of doing it.

Mentor9 months agoCash App is NOT an accepted payment method on eBay. You got scammed.
You will have to try a dispute with Cash App

OP8 months agoI would like eBay to step in and take control of this matter and either get the seller to send me an iPhone 16 or send my refund of 393.98… it’s been well over five weeks and I would like eBay take control of this situation. I have a bought hundreds of dollars through eBay and this is the first time this has ever happened to me.

Mentor8 months agoAs previously stated, CashApp is not an accepted method of payment on Ebay so Ebay cannot help you since you paid outside of Ebay. You will need to file a dispute through CashApp.

·8 months agoNo. You took the transaction off eBay by paying with an unapproved payment method and not purchasing directly from the listing. There will be no way for you to do anything through eBay, including rating the seller.

Mentor9 months agoCash app is not an accepted method of payment on Ebay. The seller scammed you into paying by a method not approved by Ebay.
File a dispute through Cash App.
