I was going to bid on item and it the clock went from 27 seconds to sold. ...?

This has not happened to me before and I was wondering if this was something that happens... if there is anything that can be done about it since obviously if you can't trust the clock countdown it make things very different in bidding.

If your auction countdown is not behaving correctly, check to make sure your computer's time zone is set correctly, and the date and time are synchronized with an internet time server such as time.windows.com or time.nist.gov.

Differences between your computer's time or time zone can cause issues at the end of an auction with the countdown display, and can make it hard to place a late bid.
