I was charged sales tax on an item that is tax free in my state. How to get it resolved and refunded?

Mentor2 weeks agoOn eBay, when that happens, it is usually due to the seller having listed the item in a taxable category, as opposed to a non-taxable category.
The best way to (try to) get a refund of the sales tax is to contact your state's treasury or revenue department -- whatever your state calls it.
