I was double charged on three separate purchases. How do I get my money back for the second charge.

·2 years agoIf you are looking at your payment source's (bank, credit card) website/app and are seeing identical amounts on eBay line items, usually one will be "Pending": that is the pre-authorization hold that eBay might put in before the final charge (generally when you pre-authorize automatic payment in order to place a bid or Best Offer, but sometimes when you are simply checking out for reasons only eBay knows). Those do not reduce your balance (or increase it in the case of a credit card) but can affect your "available balance" until it disappears when it expires in a couple of days or when it figures out that the other actual charge is for the same thing.

Generally one of the pending charges for each purchase will fall off by itself. If both charges become permanent, call your card issuer and dispute the duplicates.
