I was charged tax on an item that NY State deems tax free as it’s a grocery item.
I asked the seller to look into why the total was being taxed. They told me I need to do something. I have purchased coffee from other sellers on EBay and they have never put tax on my bill. I buy directly from Nespresso and I do not pay taxes on coffee. So what should I tell the seller to do as I informed them yesterday and they have not done anything to stop the tax being charged still.

Mentor4 months agoWhat is the item number? It sounds like the seller listed the item in a category that charges sales tax.
