I shipped an item myself and was charged by ebay for a shipping label.

If you use ebay shipping, you get charged the commercial rate instead of paying the retail rate at the counter. In addition, the tracking number is automatically uploaded, instead of you having to manually type it in.

Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:

- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay

- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.

- Choose your reason for canceling the label.

- Select Cancel shipping label.

You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
