I was charged for a refund

Not sure what to do in this situation.

Was selling an item.

Item was never shipped in time I got stuck away from my house so I couldn’t ship the item in time.

seller requested a refund.

Ebay took the refund out of my bank account but I was never paid out on the item.

what should I do on my end it seems like eBay got paid from the buyer. Then took the money out of my account without paying me any money

eBay used your pending payment from buyer for the refund. You don't get any money paid out because the money went to the buyer and you kept the item.

You don't get paid, you didn't ship so you have the item and the buyer gets the money.
