I want to bid on an expensive item that is sealed in the box … seller has no sale history
I asked for her bill of sale for when she purchased the item , I was given a packaging slip … also asked why she has no history experience…. She says her husband died .
i want to bid the item but the box is sealed when I get it I will have to unseal the box , if it a fake what would be my recourse ?

·2 years agoIf it turns out to be Significantly Not As Described (thoroughly match it to the listing, especially the definition of the "Condition" the seller selected in Item Specifics) when you receive it, go to your Purchase History for that item, click the link for more options and select that you want to return the item, select the (usually bottom) reason that it is not as described or pictured, then follow instructions from there. If you haven't gotten a prepaid return label or a full refund after 3 days (but before 21 days) from doing so go back and you should find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" to get your refund.
The deadline for filing is within 30 days of when you actually received it (as shown by tracking) or the delivery estimate you were given when you paid, whichever is earlier.

If the item is fake you can use Ebay's Money Back Guarantee.
