I think I fell for a scam
I should've stopped and thought it through better, I could swear the seller had 160 reviews but it was early and I must have mixed up different offers...they have 0.
Purchased the super good deal (again, red flag but I'm rusty...old account was inactive for a decade hence this one being new), shipping info was released the end of the same day, it was JCEX (email said "Other (Unknown Carrier)" and I immediately grew a little concerned but more curious to sus out the facts. The tracking data was oddly different from one site to another so I reached out and asked for details. The seller said they weren't in my country and here's what the warehouse sent me (screenshot of shipping info). Did some more digging this morning and lunchtime because the answer didn't sit well. So I responded asking which country it was actually in because JCEX had a GPS squiggle line moving around China while tracking data on ebay and other sites said it had gone from NY to TN on it's way to me. I posted a few screenshots in the chat to show the seller what I was seeing and within an hour or less...ebay notified me my package had been delivered (yay!...uh...?)
I called and left a VM with ebay and reported the suspicious behavior since it tells me to wait until the 10th becauee the item may still be on it's way. I really think I fell for a scam (pre-coffee shopping, never again!) and want this resolved fast. The seller stopped responding (shock).
Thoughts or guidance/past experiences anyone?
