I think ebay stole my money
I made an offer on an item listed on ebay. Before I was notified the offer was accepted my paypal account was charged. Because I didn't recognize the charge I filed a claim. After figuring out what had happened I tried dropping the claim with paypal. Since then Paypal has closed the case and I am no longer able to do anything regarding the transaction. Ebay is telling me that Paypal is refunding my money and has locked me and the seller from doing anything relating to the transaction. I can't dispute it, I can't cancel it and I can't get ebay to do anything other than point the blame on Paypal. Meanwhile ebay holds my money in limbo until they claim the funds as forfeit.

Mentor2 years ago@Anonymous Once you file a charge back with PayPal then eBay can no longer help you. This is the law to prevent members from filing multiple claims for the same case.
Refund requests are filed in this order> eBay> PayPal> bank or credit card.
However if the seller shipped then you should not receive a refund.
There is a note when you make an offer that says if the seller requires immediate payment when an offer is made. Then your payment method is charged as soon as the seller accepts the offer.
