I suspect someone at eBay of using my credit card.
Three weeks ago, I had to replace my credit card at the bank, as I had been informed that someone had tried to use the card numbers to purchase something in excess of a thousand dollars; a week later, a new card was issued to me. This evening, Sunday Feb.19th., my Bank, ( PNC bank) contacted me to say that once again someone had tried to use my "NEW" credit card information to make a purchase, but this time, just over a hundred dollars.
At no time in the past year did I use my credit card in a store or any other establishment ...... NOW .. eBay has been the only place where I have used my "NEW" credit card in the past, few few days and the same applies to the one that was replaced..... eBay alone.
As the bank will be closed on Monday, I will have to wait until Tuesday to have it replaced. The lady who contacted me, said not to use my credit card in the future with eBay, but my debit card instead, even so, I think that I shall wait for a passage of time until I purchase anything through eBay until I feel sure that whoever has access to ANY of my card information has been tracked down. Look and see how long I have been with eBay.

Are you sure the charge isn't for any of those orders?

Mentor3 years agoNeither eBay employees or sellers have access to your card info.
I would check your computer or devise for malware than is logging your card#.
I disagree with the ‘lady’ - your credit card offers more protection than your debit card, by law.
