I sold two items to the same person. I can't figure out how to combine them
This is important because they are both thousands of dollars and I want to insure them. If I go to send one item and insure it (to include both in the same box), it only lets me insure up to the amount of that item.

Be sure to get a signature on delivery as it is required for all sales that total $750 or more so you have tracking proof of delivery.
Here's how to combine shipping as long as it's not a eBay International Shipping Program order. You can't combine shipping on EIS orders without a bit more work.
You can not combine ANY authenticity guaranteed items. They must all ship separately.
#1 If the buyer has not paid yet here's how to send a combined shipping invoice:
Go to your sold listings on a PC and select send invoice from next to one item. The next page will then have all of the items from your buyer. Weigh and measure the new package and then adjust the shipping price. You can look up the shipping price here: https://www.ebay.com/shp/Calculator

#2 If the buyer has already paid then you can send a partial refund for the shipping overcharge:
Go to the sold item and select Send Refund from the drop down menu next to the item.
Next screen select the reason for the refund> enter the amount> submit
#3 Also, when you print the shipping label it's VERY important to select all items and then select print label from the top of the list if the buyer did not pay from an invoice. Then on the next screen it will ask if you want to combine orders, say yes then adjust the package size and weight as needed. This way the tracking is applied to all items.
# 4 I suggest you allow combined shipping in your account settings so that in the future buyers can request an invoice from their cart:

OP7 months agoThank you. I am getting signature confirmation as well as getting certified and insuring. When you say in #3 - to select all items - I have the boxes of both sales checked (to the left of the photo) but there is no "print label." If I select "get shipping label" it only counts for the one item I selected from. I'm on Advanced shipping page now and there's nothing I can see to include another order, or a way to increase the insurance past the amount for one item (I'm trying to insure for $5000 for both sales).
Per #2 - buyer said to keep the shipping amount on both so I don't need to refund.
I guess I'm going to forego the slight shipping discount I'd get by doing it this way, and just buy it outright at the post office in the morning, and update each sale with the same tracking. Appreciate your time!

Next screen will ask if you want to combine the order, say yes.
You can just select get shipping label from next to each item if you don't want to combine. It is best to use eBay shipping labels as they cost less and the tracking is automatically uploaded

Mentor7 months ago@l8apexs2k. You should also add insurance to protect you against theft or lost in shipping.
Be sure to ship the coins in a box as they could bust out of an envelope.

OP7 months agoGot it to work - thanks again for the help. I actually had an ebay agent call me and they said it was under "get bulk labels" which I'd seen but thought was something else. I was able to combine and get all my options included.
