I sold something but the buyer wanted to cancel.

Question

So long story short, I'm **bleep** because I don't want to talk to eBay's automated assistant. I need an actual person.

So I sold a suit for $50.

Buyer paid about $53 (sales tax)

I received $42 (I don't receive sales tax or the stupid fee eBay charges)

So I canceled the order as per his request. Now my funds are at $0.00 but it says my -$42 are available for payout and the +$42 are not available. Does this mean I'm going to get charged $42 for doing nothing?

While you don't have to, it is always best to cancel when asked. Make sure you select "buyer request" as the reason so you will not be charged any fees.
