I sold an item yet I ended up paying for the shipping instead of the buyer
I made my first 2 sales on eBay. I had listed that the buyers would pay for the shipping. Yet both times I ended up paying for the shipping labels and lost money on the sale. Do not see where the buyer paid for the shipping cost.

The buyer pays the shipping to you. You buy the label.
The shipping paid by the buyer is part of the payment in your payment account. Click on the payment to see what was paid, and the fees deducted. https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin

OP1 year agoI had expected to receive after the fees $24.82 sent to my account
What I was paid by eBay to my account was $8.46
I bought the shipping label for $6.36.
So not following why eBay only paid me for $8.46 instead of $24.82.
Not able to find how I can contact eBay about this.

Click on the payout, also in your payment account, to see what else was deducted.
The $29.47 includes the shipping paid by the buyer, so you have to deduct the actual label cost, if you bought your label through eBay.
If you sold an item after this one, the shipping for that sale was probably deducted, too - shipping is always paid from available funds.
