I sold an item for $471 and I was charged $451 for shipping? What can I do to resolve this?
I sold a bike on Ebay and I made $471 after the listing fees. When I listed the bike it gave me the option to let the buyer pay for shipping and it seemed to suggest the cost to ship the bike would be $200.
I was charged $100 for shipping as soon as the bike sold, and then Ebay ran my card for another $351 telling me the shipping label was underpaid.
I sold a bike for $700 and I got $20 by the time it was all done. Is there anything I can do?
Is there anything I can do? Had I known I was going to be charged this much I would not have sold the bike on Ebay.

Mentor4 months agoYou underestimated the shipping cost. You will need to make up the difference between what the buyer paid for shipping and the actual shipping cost out of your own pocket.
In the future, use Ebay's calculated shipping based on buyer location, weight & dimensions of the prepackaged item.
