I sold an item, buyer never picked up package. Ebay confirmed cancellation will package be returned

Item was attempted to be delivered with buyer unavailable and held at post office, never picked up so I cancelled the order. Will my package be returned to me? I was never paid as the item was never delivered to the buyer.

If the buyer never picks up the package from the post office, it will be returned to you. Once you get the package back, you can refund the item price only. If the buyer still wants the item, s/he will have to repay the shipping for you to ship. Since you filed a cancellation, if the buyer still wants the item, you will have to relist the item so s/he can repurchase and repay.
