I sold an item. Buyer came to pick it up in person
I sold a bike the buyer was able to come pick it up in person, eBay is asking to ship, but buyer already picked up

·1 year agoI don't think you know how eBay works.
If you didn't offer local pickup then you were supposed to ship it and provide the tracking number to prove delivery.
For local pickup offered in the listing eBay gives the buyer a QR code or the 6 digit code to give to you to prove delivery or they sign a copy of the order form.
You didn't offer local pickup so that is why eBay is asking you to ship.
For sure you don't have a clue about shipping because you have those fog lights costing only $13 Priority Mail. That package will be more than a cubic foot and will be charged DIM weight pricing. No way it will only cost $13.
Then there's $6 to ship that long and heavy bumper bar. Again, ain't no way you can ship that for $6. Not even to someone in your same city for that cost. Where are you getting those shipping costs?

EBay’s needs proof through online verification, that the buyer received the goods.
Did they pay for shipping, then you refunded it?
The funds won’t be released for at least 30 days.
Hopefully the buyer doesn’t file an ‘item not received’ claim, as you will have no proof the buyer received the bike.
Had the buyer been given the option to choose local pickup, they would be given a QR code to present to the seller to verify the received the bike.
It’s a waiting game now.
There may also be defects against your seller account for not shipping on time. According to the listing, it should have shipped within two days.
