I sold an item but....
I sold an brand new item. The buyer received but saying it is not working and asking me the refund. I do not wish to refund. I do not know what to do....

Mentor1 year agoIf the buyer opened an "Item not as described" case then respond that they should return the item and you will make a full refund. You will need to provide a prepaid return label to comply with eBay requirements.
If the buyer just is asking for a refund then say return the item first and you will then provide a refund. If the buyer is just trolling for a refund they will not return the item.

OP1 year agoThank you very much for your reply. As you mentioned, I asked the buyer to send back the item to me. No reply so far.
I emailed the same question to eBay, but your answer was much easier to understand and quicker.
