I sold an item and 4 hrs later EBAY put a violation on my item. Can I still ship it Buyer has paid. Was a perfume without a box- New policy took 3 of my items down even though some were previously sold without past violations. Please advise Thank you

Hi, I sold a perfume and the buyer paid. I was buying thre shipping label when I noticed that 4 hours after the purchase they posted a violation because it did not have the original box. I would like to still ship the item it was stated No Box so the buyer is aware it has no box. EBay said I should cancel the order because if the buyer has an issue I will have no support. I am not sure what that means. It is a $100 item. I have emailed the buyer and asked if they still want to purchase with the violation for no box ,but no response from the buyer.
please advise. They also took down a vintage collectable sun lotion, i had 3 for sale and previously sold 1 and did not have a violation.
Should I still ship the item I have to ship by the 17th before i get a late mark from EBAY. Thank you

You either need to ship the item or cancel the order and refund the buyer.
If you ship, and the buyer says it's not as described, then eBay may decide the buyer doesn't have to return the item.

OP1 month agoThank you very much for explaining that. I do not want to loose the money if the buyer is unhappy and allowed to keep the item.
It is $100 sale and the buyer asked if it was authentic this morning .
it is, was part of a 3 piece set and i threw the box away years ago after I purchased it. If I cancel the sale I can no longer sell it on EBAy .Do you recommend any other sites I can sell it on. I see at least 3 others like mine on EBAY still up but they do not say without Box in the title like mine said.
