I should not have to accept a return when it was sold as is and buyer admitted to me it was no fault of my own

I have a buyer that bought an Item as is for parts or repair no returns . I accepted their offer and today they opened a return request saying item under item not as descriped/photos. I asked them what the ment they responded they thought the item they bought has gold back and it was not . in which I never said the watch had gold back and you can see in pics what was gold and the back plate you can tell a difference in color. I told them I dont feel it was my fault they didnt notice the difference and they even responded that i was right it was no fault of my own , They are miss using returns and this should not be allowed

Mentor3 weeks ago@trayse-60 Since it was listed as parts not working the buyer has only 3 days from the date of delivery to file the return request.
eBay will step in and force a refund if you don't issue the return label and refund willingly. Then you get a defect, you don't get your sellers fees back, and the buyer may be allowed to keep the watch.
You can deny the return if it's past the 3 day limit otherwise you must accept the return.
If it is too late for an eBay return the buyer can file a chargeback with their payment method. If they do that then you get a $20 dispute fee in addition to the refund.

Mentor3 weeks agoThere is no such thing on eBay as a "As is" purchase. By eBay policy if the buyer opens an "Item not as described" case you need to accept the return, provide a prepaid return label and then fully refund once the item has been returned. Once the item is returned you can report the buyer for misusing the money back guaranty but this does not get you any money back. It just lets eBay mark the buyers account for doing this and if they make a habit of doing this then eBay can remove their ability to open a money back guaranty case.
