shipped a perfect Item sent pics before shipping. Item broken during shipping and buyer wants refund from me but usps broke it. I’m now either out the item and money or they give me a bad review. The usps is to blame. I don’t want the seller to get the shaft either. Is there anyway to get usps to pay for damages? Or is eBay going to give me a spanking?

First you need to take care of your buyer. Ask the buyer for photos of the damaged item, packaging and materials, and the address label on the package. Then refund the buyer in full.
Once you've done that, you can open an insurance claim online and attach the photos as well as a screenshot of the order details page. Here is the link:

You have up to $100 of insurance, but a payout is dependent on whether the item was packaged properly to withstand the normal rough handling all packages receive. USPS will make that call.
