I (seller) am being charged by eBay to complete a cancellation???
Buyer requested a cancellation almost immediately after paying for a purchase. When I navigated to the screen to approve the cancellation, I was shown this breakdown of where the refund would come from. (See attached screenshot.) Can anyone explain why my bank account is being charged for $460+ when I have never received ANY FUNDS associated with this transaction? eBay has been unable to assist me in this matter. Any explanation would be most welcome.

·8 months agoI know it’s confusing. I assume the buyer paid for the item prior to the cancellation, right? You have to front the funds for the refund, then eBay releases the buyers payment to you (they don’t have a way to just reverse the payment to the buyer).
