I refunded buyer then item arrived late
I shipped a 2 day priority package. USPS lost it. I refunded the buyer then the package arrived nearly 3 weeks later. I could not invoice him because of the refund. I relisted and he purchased it. I used the tracking number of the delivered package after he paid. Now ebay thinks it is still in transit and funds won't be released. Tracking shows the package delivered. It is the same tracking number as the prior purchase. What can I do to get ebay to release funds?

Mentor2 years agoYou will have to wait the full hold period for the payment to be released. I am surprised that eBay let you use the same tracking # - usually you would just select 'mark as shipped'.
I'm glad you had an honest buyer who paid for the delivered item 🙂
