I refunded a purchase but haven't received the item back yet.
A buyer wanted to return an item. I refunded the buyer but haven't as yet received the item that the buyer was refunded for.
HAVE NOT RECEIVED ITEM THAT WAS RETURNED!

Mentor2 years agoTypically if the seller wants the item back, the process is to issue a return label to the buyer and refund after the item has been received.
By refunding prior to getting the item back, you remove any incentive the buyer has to return the item. You may have inadvertently signaled that you do not want the item back by doing so.
