I recently sold a Christmas ornament and when packing it I realized I made a mistake
So when packing this ornament to ship I realized that I got some photos mixed up and that I had put the name of the brand on the listing because I had selected the wrong label photo. The correct price tag was in the photos though. I just added the wrong brand tag to the listing.
I have tried to contact the buyer three times to let them know and to find out what they want me to do. They haven’t responded to any of my messages. I’m not sure if I should go ahead and ship it or to just wait until I hear from them.

Mentor2 years agoThis is always a tough call. If they don’t want it, it is going to cost you shipping x 2, plus a fragile ornament being shipped twice. If they do want it, the longer you wait, the longer it is going to take to arrive.
The brand will make a difference to a collector - can you get any sense of the buyer being a collector from their feedback? I would not ship to a Radko collector if you sold it as a Radko and it is not - you can be sure it will get returned. In this case, I would cancel the transaction as out of stock and take the defect.
If the error was not calling it a Radko, I would probably go ahead and ship, unless it is another brand that has avid collectors. Or hold it another day and then plan on shipping priority instead of ground to make up for the delay, if the buyer does want it.
